As a ceramic designer, the act of engagement is an important element of my artistic practice and I enjoy sharing my skills, knowledge and experience through art workshops.  Specialising in clay, but experienced in many mediums, I can cater for any age or ability, in both formal and informal environments. Below are some examples from recent "pottery for kids" art workshops.

I run educational art workshops in North Wales for schools and youth groups. I work with Keystage 1 and Keystage 2 children to produce a range of ceramic wall murals.  The children have active involvement in producing their own permanent contribution to the final piece.  These art projects can vary in length, from hours to weeks, depending on budgets, number of children involved and desired outcomes.

I have also led pottery evening classes for Shropshire Youth Arts, an Artist Teacher Scheme for NEWI, Wrexham and children’s mixed media Summer educational art workshops for Denbighshire County Council, North Wales

References are available upon request.  I have full Public Liability insurance to the value of £5million and a current CRB Disclosure certificate.  I am based in The Ceiriog Valley, Llangollen, Wales, but am willing to run Art Workshops in North West England, Shropshire, Powys and North Wales if required.
