Inspired by issues of domestic life, traditional family values and childhood memories, my ceramics are mostly decorative. Work is created using slip cast methods, made from white stoneware or porcelain.

My ceramics are produced mainly as one-offs. Continuing with the themes of childhood and family life, plates and cups & saucers are decorated with delicate porcelain lace, bows and ribbon. These ceramic designs represent the fragility of our memories and family values. My designs also include manipulated traditional functional ware associated with ‘a nice cup of tea’ – the answer to any problem!!

Unique Wedding Gifts
I can create personalised porcelain wedding plaques, finished off framed and ready to hang. These unique wedding gifts feature the names of the bride and groom, the wedding date and any special memories like words from a song or poem. The wedding plaques are available in a range of sizes, so please get in touch for a quotation. Porcelain angels, hearts and other shapes make unique wedding favours and a permanent table place name ‘card’ for receptions and parties. The shape and colour can be personalised to suit any event. They also make great Christmas decorations!

New Births and Christening Gifts
Unique porcelain plates, decorated with a traditional gingham pattern, in a colour of choice, can be a memorable new baby or christening gift and reminder of a special event. A combination of name, date and weight can be featured, together with any delicate imagery, like a hand or footprint, teddy bear or bootees. I am happy to discuss any requirements, so please contact me. Wedding Gifts, new birth and christening gifts can also be made on a smaller scale, adding images and/or text to a slip cast 3-D heart.
